STL coding competitions: PetHack May 2015 and GlobalHack June 2015

If you’re a code wrangler, programmer, or software engineering guru there are two upcoming St. Louis events where you can compete and really cash in. Sure bragging rights are fantastic, but dollars and other spoils speak volumes…

May 22-24th Keep Calm and HackPetHack St. Louis

How does $10,000 in cash and stock in a start-up company that seeks to dramatically impact the pet-food industry sound? The challenge: web, mobile, data, and architecture programming. $10 a person, with up to 10 people on a team. No crew? No worries. Arrive early on Friday evening to join a  team. Food, beverages, and free wifi will be provided at the beautiful T-Rex co-working space in downtown St. Louis. The event is sponsored by ITEN, Arch Grants and Cultivation Capital.

June 5-7 GlobalHack IV

What could you do with your share in $50k and the bragging rights of winning a widely-recognized hacking competition? A lot we’re sure. GlobalHack IV returns once again in St. Louis and will be held at T-Rex, a co-working space in downtown St. Louis. Cost is $10 per person, with a team of up to 10 people. If you don’t have a team, you’ll have an opportunity to join one prior to the start of the hack. Free wifi, food, and beverages will be provided. Lots of big sponsors and partners (too many to list out here) have helped to make this event possible, many are St. Louis grown…
