Yet another successful NetEffects’ company picnic was held at Castlewood State Park this year.
Miraculously, all the heat and humidity we have been experiencing lately in the St. Louis area held off and the temperature was perfect for a day of outdoor fun- and most importantly, NO rain!
The kids had a great time with all the activities and entertainment. Throughout the day, the craft table was filled with children (and a few creative adults) making sand art creations, beautiful jewelry, and hand decorated can coolers and bags.
Famed children’s entertainer, Babaloo, delighted all ages with an extreme bubble machine, toilet paper shooter and interactive songs which were all fun to watch.
Of course, what NetEffects picnic would be complete without piñatas and gift bags filled with toys and candy for every child?!
All attendees were able to enjoy a vast array of food!
The spread this year featured Mayuri Indian cuisine, Pappy’s BBQ, and a Frosty Treat truck that offered a wide variety of frozen novelty items.
Adults and kids alike had the opportunity to meet new people, converse with colleagues, and catch up with old friends.
Picnic attendees were also asked to bring canned items to donate to the Foodbank of St. Louis. With all the donations we received at the picnic alone, we were able to provide 144 meals. Great job everyone!
Thanks to all that were able to attend!
A special thanks is needed for those who helped ensure that everything ran smoothly, we hope everyone enjoyed the picnic as much as we did! If you were unable to attend, you were surely missed!
We hope that you will be able to attend the next company function!
