Announcing the newest member of our team: Account Executive, Jake Renfro!

Trying to stay a “step ahead” and always exceed client expectations is the motto that NetEffects’ newest salesperson Jake Renfro lives by every day.

With loads of experience behind him, Jake brings his enthusiastic personality to the NetEffects’ sales team that already brims with talent and energy.

Renfro’s career has seen him serving as a Branch Manager for one professional staffing firm and a Regional Director for another, an Account Executive and then a Business Sales Manager for a major mobile phone service.  The number of awards he has earned over the years for an elevated level of performance and customer satisfaction makes him a perfect fit for NetEffects’ client-oriented sales team.

“I believe in taking a consultative approach with clients, to take the time that’s needed to find out what it is they really want and need, and then find the absolutely right people to meet their expectations. This is not something that happens overnight, you have to be in it for the duration,” Jake said.

He added that in his experience with other firms, too often they are simply “Order takers. They get an order, send out a lot of people, have little feedback, hoping something sticks.”

He selected NetEffects because the approach here is different. “Here, it’s the quality that really counts so that we don’t have to waste our clients’ time with reviewing people who may or may not be the right fit. Jack (Bader, President) and Stephanie (Tolen-Schroeder, Vice President) have an incredible reputation in the industry. They know this business and people have a high regard for them. That says a lot about the company.”

Jake lives in Wentzville with his wife Chelsea and their two-and-a-half year old daughter, Bailey. When he’s not at NetEffects, you can find Jake with his nose in a textbook, where he dedicates at least an hour a night, six days a week, to his on-line studies to finish his degree.

Jake realized once his wife announced she was pregnant, that “leading by example is important thus an education is also important,” so with his budding family in support, he began his schooling and is now an ardent part-time student who knows that a college degree “provides you with a phenomenal sense of personal accomplishment and a great many opportunities.”

His personal hobbies include spending time with his family and friends watching Illini football and basketball, listening to live music (Jake is a proud member of the St. Louis Parrot Head Association, a Jimmy Buffet fan group that is involved in local charity work) and of course, studying. He also served in the Illinois National Guard.
