Are You A Good Cook?
How About Donating Your ‘Special’ Recipe To Charity?
NetEffects Creates “Cooking Around The World” Cookbook to
Benefit Direct Relief International

St. Louis, Feb. 12, 2006 – Fancy yourself a good cook? Got a great, exotic recipe that turns palates? NetEffects needs you!

In looking for new ways to support its extensive corporate charity commitment, NetEffects, one of the nation’s premier information technology staff companies with world headquarters in St. Louis, has hit upon a unique idea that takes advantage of the cultural diversity of its more than 233 consultants and hundreds of clients, Philanthropy Chairperson Michelle Zipfel announced today.

The firm is asking its consultants, clients, friends and families to donate recipes for the “Cooking Around the World” NetEffects cookbook. More than 30% of NetEffects consultants are from nations other than the United States.

All of the proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go to Direct Relief International. The book will be published by March 31. Recipes are being accepted until the end of February. Proposed entries should be emailed to cookbook@neteffects.com. Entries from the public are welcome.

“We want to make this cookbook special, so no ‘ordinary’ recipes will be considered,” Zipfel said, “We’re looking for diversity for the palate to express the flavors and food found around the world. And please, no copyrighted recipes.”

Forbes Magazine has consistently recognized Direct Relief International as one of only eight nonprofit organizations in the United States that is 100% efficient in fundraising. They provide medical material aid including medicines, medical supplies and equipment to strengthen in-country health efforts around the world to improve the quality of life for the most impoverished people.

NetEffects’ corporate policy is to adopt at least one charity a quarter and raise funds to help it accomplish its mission. Zipfel, as Philanthropy Chairperson, is responsible for the firm’s charitable efforts.

Last year NetEffects completed work for numerous charitable programs, raising more than $50,000 and donating hundreds of people-hours to work on special projects. The firm encourages its staff, consultants and clients to join in for worthwhile causes and have a lot of fun doing it.

Since 1995, NetEffects has been providing faster, smarter, better contract staffing solutions and consulting services around the world for a variety of industries including information technology, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and government services. The company headquarters is in St. Louis and has offices in Chicago and Northern California.
